Kaweco have been making writing instruments in Heidelberg since 1883, and the COLLECTION is where they get playful. Marble Ocean runs green and blue through the body the way the sea does, from clear turquoise shallows down to deep water. The marbling comes out of the manufacturing process itself, so no two pens are patterned quite the same.
The nib is gold plated, warm against all that cool colour. It is a 060 nib, made in Germany, and it screws out, so you can swap it for a different size later if you change your mind. It comes with a Royal Blue cartridge fitted, ready to write.
The body is ABS, so it feels almost weightless in the hand. It measures 10.5 cm closed and grows to 12.7 cm with the cap posted. Pocket sized going out, full sized when you sit down to write. Takes standard international short cartridges, or the Kaweco mini converter for bottled ink.
Available here in Extra Fine (0.5mm), Fine (0.7mm) and Medium (0.9mm).
