This is my first Leuchtturm 1917 Notebook and it is so gorgeous that it motivates you to write in it. It is so difficult to find dotted paper instead of lines or squares and the pages are thick enough to prevent ink bleeding through to the other side. The price of the book is reflected in the high quality paper and the small details like how it is paginated, how there is a little pocket at the back and the inclusion of a contents page for use as a bullet journal.
I previously used Moleskine journals which are great for note-taking, however, it can be difficult finding the right size and amount of pages for daily use, but I have been converted to Leuchtturm.
Additonally, the spine of the book is affixed properly and does not feel like it will break after some use (it also opens nicely without pages falling everywhere).
It's very practical but still feels like a treat.
